The view and the atmosphere of the room was excellent. We particularly liked the garden, the tranquility of the place, and the fact it was relatively isolated from the busy port area, yet it was very close to it. The owners have a nice cat, which was a value add for our kids :D The owner also helped us to arrange our Stromboli boat tour, which was a private tour with his son Paolo.

Everything was perfect! Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful terrace just above the little black sand beach. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach but also the volcano eruptions. Hotel has a private beach (free of charge) and a brand new swimming pool but you have to pay to use it. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were great and helpful.

Our ferry from Milazzo arrived at 07:30 but Pedra residence allowed us to check in without any penalty. It was a bit of a walk from the port but still a great place to be. BTW do call in at the cafe right next to the port (Malandrino) for breakfast, the guys there were fun, genuine and generous. The room had a great outlook and quite close to centre. Bed was comfortable, all was clean and enough paraphernalia to make meals and a shop close by. You will need guides for a nighttime trek up the volcano. We used Magmatrek, they were very good. Be prompt for the ferries they leave on the dot. Da Luciano is a great place to eat, we had lunch there both days.

I could happily live here! The best place we stayed in Sicily and wish we'd stayed longer. The owners (and their dog) are welcoming and generous, the private outdoor space with the beach with its views of Strombolicchio is stunning, and the house has everything you could want or ask for. It's a short walk to the harbour but still quiet and tranquil. We loved it, and have already recommended it to friends and family.

The house manager was so nice and even made a coffee and a croissant for me very early after stating I must depart by 7 am! Never had such great people. Notice that the restaurant and the rooms are the same place.

Beautiful setting relaxed calm in amongst the trees. Lovely positive energy. Anna was a wonderful host. Great patio for a wonderful home produced breakfast that set us up for the day. We had plenty of space and could chill in our space watching the volcano above in hammocks which were also good for reading. Had to walk to places but that suited us fine. Nice bar near by. Didn't get to walk up the volcano for personal reasons but know that we could have got this sorted no worries if wanted.

    The location is worth every single cent and every single step needed to get there. I have seen many places around the world and this is without a doubt one of the most magical I have seen! the staff is very helpful and kind! it is a dream on earth!
