The restaurant was quite good. The staff were also excellent, especially the young server from Poland (forgot to ask her name). She was a delight and a hard worker. Nice to see nowadays.

I know there's some negative reviews, mainly about overbooking, but the property is under a new ownership and the new owners seem to be dedicated to turn around the property. We didn't have hot water on the second night, but the owner came right away and fixed it, and it was due to construction in the area rather than the property's own flaw. Two cabin share a hot tub. It's still great as long as you can figure out the time share with your neighbours. The cabin sleeps four, when the sofa bed is opened it gets a bit crowded, so I would rather recommend it for a couple or for families. It's right off the Golden Circle and the old Kerlingarfjöll track is close by as well.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 — A Warm, Welcoming Stay in a Beautiful Modern Cottage We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this modern Icelandic cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth — the entire host family welcomed us, which instantly made us feel at home. Inside, the cottage was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with every modern comfort. What truly made the stay special, though, were the personal touches: a handwritten welcome note and a homemade pie called "Happy Marriage" waiting for us on the table — such a sweet and memorable gesture! The location was peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxing and unwinding after exploring the surrounding area, the quality of the cottage itself and the hospitality we received made the experience exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy, modern base in Iceland with hosts who truly care. We'd happily return!

We loved absolutely everything! The location was perfect for a stopover before heading out for a day trip on the golden circle. The restaurant across the hotel was great. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Bathroom was awesome. Bed was big and comfy and the hot tubs outside were just amazing to spend time in. Big bonus having the big bathrobes and slippers to go straight from your room to the bathtubs outside. Loved our stay there and we will be back! Cannot recommend it enough!

    Very helpful and friendly staff! Renovated kitchen and rooms, so very clean. Its location right next to the pool makes it comfortable choice with small kids. Small geothermal pool with little geysirs behind it.

    I like the price! The cheapest room we booked in Iceland. The girl that greeted us was very friendly. It's like a mix of guest house and hostel. If you don't have much expectations you will be fine ☺️ Very nice beautiful farm location to have a short night rest. It has a kitchen, 2 shared bathrooms with hand soap, shower and big parking space outside. Easy access, check in. Room was warm. Clean sheets and towels. For a short budget friendly stay in a warm place, close to points of interest I do recommend it!

    Perfect location to use the hot pool. Literally walk across in the room robe to enjoy the hot water. Great room and facilities to cook own food for Iceland on a budget. Thank you

    Silke’s B&B is lovely and homely with all the home style ammenities you would need - comfortable warm beds, fully equipped kitchen and lovely breakfast. However the best thing is Silke’s warm hospitality and lovely big smile welcoming you to her home - you couldn’t get a lovelier host! The hot showers are a welcome delight after the Silfra snorkelling (a MUST do!) and location is ideal for all the must do day trips. Thank you for the Icelandic Christmas bread too Silke - it was delicious! Trish and family xx
