The location was perfect, there is a volcanic crater within walking distance, and a fabulous lake very close giving spectacular views. The decor and welcome was lovely, Natalie and her partner treated us a special valued guests. Breakfast was perfect. We will definitely recommend to friends and family to stay here when in Iceland.

Everything about this place is awesome. The host was a really nice, kind, caring lady. She greeted me very well, she made us breakfast in the morning. A wonderful place to stay and a brilliantly executed conversion. This was our most memorable accommodation in Iceland. The top floor living room / kitchen has amazing 360 degree views. Warm and clean, with comfortable beds. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but it is well worth the effort.

Grímsstaðir holiday home - Family friendly is a recently renovated villa in Reykholt, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.
