Beautiful property, very well designed with lots of green space and individual separated rooms for maximum privacy. Aesthetically pleasing design for rooms with well kept and clean interior. Location is superb as well, nice clean beach on the front and beautiful backwater lake on the back and is walking distance from mangroves canoe ride activity. Very serene and peaceful. The owner Prashanth is an amazing host and a great guy, gave us a free upgrade and went above and beyond in his hospitality. A great place to vacation.

What an amazing stay it was! 1. View and Location - This is located in the quietest part of oddayyam beach. private access to the beach, day and night. The view you get in the morning just outside your room will be surreal!! Surroundings are completely quiet. This is right next to maadthil homestay. 2. Value for money - Not overvalued. Worth every penny you pay. Superb surroundings, room service, wifi access, smarttv options, room amenities provided. 3. Lovely, Sweet and Welcoming host - Abhilash is very amazing person. Hospitality was good. Provided us with all information, contacts for vehicles, transfer, kayaking, mangroves etc. Also provided space for our luggage when we had a late checkout scenario. 4. Rooms - Hygienic and clean rooms. Bed spread, pillows, washrooms are all well maintained. Hope they keep the same level of hygiene consistent. 5. Peaceful vibes - If you stay here your mind will be refreshed. That is what i can say!!! completely peaceful vibe! Overall an amazing stay. definitely recommended for friends, family and couple who are on a vacation in varkala.

I had a wonderful stay at Kallayi Beachside Retreat. The location is calm, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway by the beach. The property is well-maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. A special mention goes to our host Fiazal, who was extremely warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the stay. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Wave a Lokam is Amazing, Writing this review feels essential because this stay was genuinely special. From the moment I arrived, I found a safe, welcoming space that felt like home, thanks to the hosts’ warmth and genuine care. I stayed for two days and could feel the love they pour into every detail. They even have two adopted pets who traveled from Mumbai, and they are the sweetest, most well-behaved companions. You hardly notice they’re there – just calm, quiet, and adorable. The authentic kerala food is top-notch prepared at the stay by wonderful women team, with such care that every meal felt nourishing and comforting - Sabby thank you for preparing Maharashtra dish for us:) If you’re looking for a peaceful, uncrowded place to unwind, this is the one. Every room is beautifully designed, with handpicked pieces that show the hosts’ dedication and taste. It’s heartwarming to witness these women putting so much of themselves into creating this stay, with every corner filled with love. I couldn’t be more grateful for this stay.
