We enjoyed our stay at Green Island Homestay very much, we felt very welcome and loved the peaceful location. We would have liked to stay for longer but our travel plans didn't allow. It was wonderful to be able to sit in the hammock and enjoy the view from the home, which is right on the water next to the bird sanctuary. We also had a great home cooked breakfast of puttus, pea curry and chippatis. Very delicious! Would 100% recommend. Saheer took us out for a morning boat ride before breakfast to Kadalundi Bird sanctuary where we saw lots of birds and enjoyed the serene mangroves. which was an absolute treat (extra 1000rupee for 2pax). I loved sitting on the hammock in the morning and watching the river.

It was very satisfying. Me and my family had an amazing time,sitting at the deck and overlooking the river. The room we had was also looking over the river bank and it was stunning. the service was Excellent. The meals were given at the right time. And there were no hurdles at all. So in an overall experience it was a smooth stay.
