Location for our purposes was ideal.
The host at breakfast was fabulous. A mature gentleman with glasses who couldn't have been more helpful. Went the extra mile to accommodate us.

The hotel was in an ideal location between Cork and Belfast to break up the commute. Food in the bar in the evening was good and the barman was friendly. The bed was comfortable.

The room was big and beautiful. The location was ideal for shopping in portlaoise and kilkenny. The staff were a pleasure to deal with, especially when one of our meals was not to a nice standard. They dealt with it very professionally.

Spacious rooms spotlessly clean through out the Hotel. Convenient location to explore The Town of Abbeyliex . Ample car parking.
Freshly cooked breakfast was very tasty.
