We absolutely loved this beautiful rural location, lovely old home, beautiful setting, gorgeous views, the only sound is sheep bleating, a good chat with other guests at breakfast, and the warmth of the host who makes the best mugs of tea and cooked breakfasts we had anywhere in Ireland. The location was perfect! Our reason for choosing this location was the proximity to the Knock Shrine. It was a 5min walk, if that. The breakfast was superb. We were very very pleased with the Irish fry up! We ate breakfast twice for our 2 night stay. I loved the soda bread!! (Declan you have created a monster). Our hosts, Declan and Linda were genuine and so sweet. They couldn't have made our stay any better. Our room was super clean, our beds were comfortable, and the room was warm. If we get another chance to go back to the Shrine or to Galway, we will only consider The Drum Haven B&B.

The entire experience was excellent. The owner, Anthony and his wife, were very nice. Anthony cooked us a great breakfast and blessed us with good conversation and suggestions of things to do in the area. If we ever return to Ireland, we would stay there again.
