We stayed at this guesthouse in winter during a storm, and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. They made sure we were comfortable, checked that the room was warm, and that we had everything we needed. Such friendly and caring people! The room was modern and newly renovated, with everything you could ask for—a comfy bed, heating, a nice bathroom, fresh towels, a hairdryer, and even an iron. The view from the window was amazing, looking out onto the mountains—it was such a pleasure to wake up to. There’s also a great bar nearby where they serve delicious food and drinks, and the staff there are super friendly. This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed, and I’m excited to come back in the summer to explore the beautiful surroundings that are so close to the guesthouse. Huge thanks to the hosts for making our stay so enjoyable!

The location was super, 10 min drive from Dingle town. The house was super clean. Check in was super easy. WiFi was very good. Kids enjoyed the toys and the bunk beds.

It is an impressive location It is worth to spend here multiple days as there is much to discover. The amazing host Padraig has a lot of knowledge about the area and its history. If asked he loves to suggest trips and hikes. A broad variety of breakfast options are available, even vegan and gluten free.

I had an amazing one night stay in this wonderful, one of a kind old bus repurposed as a room ! The interior is cosy, well insulated and the bed is good. There is a separated heater in the bus, quite useful for drying your stuff after the day. The bathroom is located in a separate build, and has hot water, but can be a bit windy sometimes. Daniel is super sweet and really thoughtful, he is really here to make you feel at home at anytime ! The breakfast was really good, made on demand by Daniel himself, thanks a lot !

Everything was simply perfect. The room is really clean and beautiful. Dingle town is a 5 minutes drive away. For breakfast there is a menu, with delicious things. We had full Irish breakfast, crepes and bagels. Highly recommendation for this stay.

    We had an amazing stay here and our only regret is not staying for longer. The entire place was so clean and cosy, and Eibhlis is the most amazing host. Our breakfast was outstanding and the location is excellent with just a short walk to the pub up the road. This place is a must stay for anyone visiting the Dingle Peninsula/Slea Head Drive/Wild Atlantic Way. We hope to return some day and stay for longer!

    Geraldine was a friendly and helpful host .The breakfast was freshly cooked and very delicious with lots of different options on the menu. Bedrooms very spotlessly clean with lots of hot water, the rooms are very quiet so we had a great nights sleep. An Portán guest house is in a great location with beautiful scenery all around and walking distance to the Blasket visitor center and Dunquin pier and directly across the road from a bar which serves food.

    The location is all you can desire. The room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Bed was extremely comfortable. Host and her family were friendly and helpful. She is been running this business for a week and she is already a perfect host. Will definitely come back.
