Jennifer is a great host— so friendly and genuinely interested in making your stay the best possible. Breakfasts were terrific—full Irish and a big bowl of tasty fresh fruit. The house and grounds are immaculate. Bonus: I think the standing mirror in our room added a few inches to my height and subtracted a few pounds from my middle— now that’s a great b and b!

Beautiful home filled with warmth and positive energy! Wonderful hosts! Gorgeous view of the bay from our lovely room. Very nice bathroom. Great personalised breakfast. Spent 8 marvelous days there! It is also a perfect location for day trips in Co. Donegal. Very close are the secret waterfall and the highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe (Sleave League).

Amazing location and the cottage was beautiful and peaceful. Spent most of our time in the cottage reading and listening to the river or sitting in the hot tub watching the waterfalls, while the dogs lay in the garden. Fintra beach was a short drive away, or walk if you want. Grace was very responsive to messages and provided all information we needed for an enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway in nature ☺️

Absolutely lovely cottage in a tranquil rural village. 20 minutes by car to Donegal Town and 15 minutes to Killybegs. The cottage is ideally located for touring the whole area. Mary and William were wonderful hosts. The cottage is beautifully maintained and we were very pleased with everything.

Great Central location between Donegal Town and Killybegs. Lovely quiet location with good facilities. Some beautiful cafes and restaurants around. Try the beautiful fresh fish. The bed in the house was really comfortable and the back garden was fantastic for families and those bringing their dog.

We had a lovely week staying at the Village Cottage and the hosts William and Mary were amazing and made us feel very welcome. A very clean and comfortable cottage with everything that you need for your stay. There is a small supermarket in the village with a good range of products and plenty of eating places in nearby Killibegs and Donegal Town. William and Mary are a lovely friendly couple. We had a lovely stay in Dunkineely where we lived many years ago and it was nice to see old friends in the village.

Excellent location , house is really well set up and great for groups , excellent hosts who helped out when keys were locked in the house , would really recommend this place as a base for visiting Donegal, and it helps that the pub is next door as well!!!!

I thought it was great value for the money and it was a good central location -- close to Donegal AND Slieve League. The host was really friendly and responsive, giving great recommendations for restaurants. I loved that you could walk to a market. The house was huge with plenty of room for multiple people to stay and hang out without bumping into each other. I loved that all the appliances worked so you could cook. I also loved that there was a yard for my dog and all the supplies you needed in the kitchen and bathroom were provided.

simple and easy. Great accommodation for our family with 6 kids. Easy to access and find. Parking right in front on the street. Chipper a stone's throw away and a next-door pub with a decent pint of Guinness. The south Donegal general location speaks for itself.
