We loved our stay at Hemma Grove - right from the start the hosts were lovely. It's tucked away and peaceful but an easy drive in to Kilkenny. The rooms were so comfy and roomy, beautifully designed and the bathroom is stunning! The hosts have 2 lovely dogs who were great fun and a highlight of the trip for sure. So much information and recommendations were provided we had no problem planning our activities. Also had a wonderful walk around the grounds.

It was the perfect holiday for us, we stayed 5 days, with older children 10 and 16. They appreciated the pool table and air hockey which meant we had an actual break! It was lovely and peaceful, there was Netflix so we relaxed as a family in the night, it was great we couldn’t ask for more.

The apartment was terrific. Pretty, comfortable and incredibly close to the center. The host left us some well appreciated delicacies on our arrival and the bathroom has even a “forgot something?” cabinet stocked with all sorts of things that you might need. 10/10 if we ever come back to Kilkenny we know where to go.
