Absolutely beautiful little cottage in the country. It was definitely a home away from home. Fantastic heating for the cold nights. Every appliance and cookery item needed was provided for i the kitchen. It was great to have a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and the doona was warm and fluffy. Perfect holiday accommodation for a family

The house was lovely. It had everything we needed and our dog loved it too! It’s just a short walk into town and there’s shops nearby. We had a very comfortable stay at pebble lodge and when I called the owner the day before we were due to arrive he was so helpful. I would recommend this house to any family looking to stay in Kenmare

The Cottage was "as advertised" and very easy to find. Minutes out of Skibbereen and the local Lidl grocery store. The fridge had the essentials kindly supplied for our arrival. The cottage was clean and the rooms are of good proportions. Living room area has comfortable seating and there was a week's supply of wood for the fireplace - which we took full advantage of. The central heating worked a charm and the fire was for ambiance. Views out over the farm fields added a tranquility to our stay. Being Canadian, we had to ask about turning on the heat and power for the oven and stovetop. The Owner kindly popped over and sorted us out immediately. Very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. Fantastic Hosts!

Was passing through kenmare on friday 08th of sep 2023, and I said I'd look up accommodation just to see was there something within budget, and was delighted to see Failte Hostel open again as I hadn't being in kenmare for about three years. As I just flow with life now, and the price for three night so reasonable, I decided to book in for three nights. Lovely family run hostel and welcomed with a smile, stayed in sparkling clean 8 bed mixed dorm, spacious shared shower and bathroom facilities with were spotless, with beautiful warm running at all times of the day. Perfect Location just at the top of Hendry Street, If your like me and your looking for somewhere to just lay your head and shower as you go on your adventures around Kerry and West Cork your in an ideal location as a base. Hope this hostel gets all the support it deserves to continue trading in these times we're in, As a hostel is of huge importance in this central location for access to travelling around Kerry & West Cork. Beautiful location! Honestly a breathtaking view from the front of the house. Very comfortable room with a large bathroom. Great shared kitchen and facilities. Beautiful house. Getting to the house is a little difficult but the hosts gave great directions and if you follow them you will have no problems. Wish I could have stayed for a few more nights.
