This stay was really a great opportunity to stay in the Irish countryside, away from typical tourist locales. We had a bit of a stressful day of driving in unfamiliar territory and were greeted with such a warm welcome. Our beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. Lisa is an exceptional host, such a delightful person and we loved visiting with her. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and everything about our stay at Fitzgerald’s Farmhouse was wonderful.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Extremely peaceful and relaxing evening and night. The cabin was perfect and everything was thought of. The beds were fantastic and we had a beautiful sleep.

Friendly, comfortable and super accommodating to my needs - late arrival and early departure. They prepared breakfast the evening before and showed me arouns so I could enjoy something to eat before I had to leave very early. Thank you! Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable.
