Our stay in this charming house in Lubenice exceeded all expectations. The location right on the main square is simply perfect, and the authentic design feels like something out of a movie. The atmosphere is peaceful and truly special. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our experience even better. Everything was just perfect — we really hope to return soon!

Lubenice is a unique and picturesque village on the island of Cres that impressed me with its wild beauty and atmosphere. The road leading to the village is particularly breathtaking, with dry stone walls on both sides, where the stones are carefully stacked without mortar, adding a special charm to the landscape. The village is located on the island’s peak, offering stunning views of the sea. Below, there are two beaches — Sveti Ivan (locals sometimes refer to it as Saint Luke’s Beach) and Blue Cave — which are about an hour’s walk away. The village has only one restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional local dishes made from lamb. The restaurant opens at 4 PM and was closed on Mondays. The apartments in the village are also very comfortable: everything is clean, well-maintained, and all appliances work perfectly. The hosts are incredibly kind and hospitable, making the stay even more pleasant. Lubenice is an ideal destination for those seeking an authentic Croatian atmosphere and natural beauty.

The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartment is very well equipped. Wifi works well. If you are a nature enthusiast, you will absolutely love this place. Cute sheep are roaming around the house. You walk a couple of meters and you have a breathtaking view of the sea. Don't forget to watch the sunset! The tourist trails to the island's two best beaches (one if them is the blue cave) start from right in front of the house. Getting to the beach is pretty demanding though, but worth it.

Excellent location of the hotel on the largest Croatian island of Cres. Free parking provided. Extremely friendly staff at the reception, restaurant and room cleaning. Comfortable beds, super internet and good air conditioning. You can enjoy the terrace during meals or your terrace in the room. Plenty of space on the beach in the shade of a pine forest, with very clean sea and shore. You can really enjoy water sports, walks along the sea or numerous restaurants and amenities in the town of Cres.

The location is great—it's right next to the beach, so the views are amazing, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the city center. The staff was super helpful every step of the way, always making sure we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the spa, which was super nice. I also strongly recommend checking out their amazing list of cocktails.

The appartment was very spacious for a family with 3 teenage kids, the location central with a very nice view to the sea and the harbor. We loved both the island and the appartment snd we would like to return. The host was very helpful, living just in the appartment above.

Great stay here in Orlec!! Despite the language barrier, Anica was so welcoming for us and took great care in making our time in the apartment as enjoyable as possible. We fully appreciate and are thankful for the genuine kindness of Anica and her family :) Orlec is also conveniently located in the center of Cres and the main road, allowing you to easily explore other parts of the island and Losinj.

    Very clean, well equipped, hospitable owner kindly left us treats/ wine and brought us more blankets and pillows. Property kept cool, good air conditioning, nice shady patio. Actually nicer than in the pictures. Just outside ancient village and beautiful beach below( long hike to beach) .

    everything, excetional location, 4000 year old mistical little town on a cliff, the property is clean, cozy, full of ancient objects and tools, very nicely and tastfully, with pictures of old generations that once lived there, a perfect combination of history in one sweet appartment under perfect starry sky surrounded with magical silence
