Everything was great! Elena is the most wonderful host, she made sure we had everything we needed, communication before and on site was super helpful and clear , she arranged the transfer for us and waited for us with a wonderful home made cake! :) She gave beach toys to our kids and was there to help with anything:) The apartment is beautifully renovated, Eva cleaned our apartment daily, changed towels and bedding as needed, she even washed our clothes when we needed some to be washed. Honestly the apartment has all you need, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with all the basics for cooking like oil and spices...but on top of that Elena left us some local goodies to enjoy and little things like cold water in the fridge so you feel like you arrive to a 5* hotel :) The beach is literally 3 minutes walk and superb for little kids, all you need is a few minutes walking ...supermarket, pharmacy, shops and restaurants, car rental, taxi... The place is just perfect for a beach holiday with kids or to explore Crete from. I could not recommend Elena's Apartment more! Thank you Elena and family for your efforts and hospitality, you cannot think of a better host!

We stayed for 8 nights and this property was ideal. Fantastic location. Kitchen had everything and more than needed, even had coffee machine and toastie maker. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

A very nicely reconstructed traditional house. Spacious, clean and equipped with everything needed for solo travelers who don't like all inclusive. Beautiful view from the terrace of Mount Kástro (we were at the top). Fres is a quiet and peaceful mountain village. Church bells and sheep bells completed the romantic atmosphere that we love so much.

Everything, Tony and Sophie are the most gentle, friendly, available and fabulous hosts ever. They made us feel at home and supported us every day with tips of any kind: from the best beaches to the most delicious restaurants they know everything and thanks to them we had a blast! Our host, Kostas, was very friendly and was always available for suggestions and any help we needed. Our studio had a fantastic view of the beach and the pool, very clean and renovated. Facilities were carefully maintained and cleaned, the shared kitchen was brand new. There is a large and quiet terrace to relax and lay down, with tables to have your food and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The pool with sunbeds and the bar next to it was great, we had a nice time there. There's a beach very close that can be accessed directly from the pool. Also, the resort has a large private parking area, we always had a place.
