Rashed, the member of staff who helped us settle in was excellent. He provided excellent customer service which is unusual for Ghana.Nothing was too much trouble for him. The property was modern and well decorated. Douglas the owner came and greeted us during our stay, which was lovely.

I do not think we could have found a better place to stay in Accra. Emilia, Eric, and all the team at Charis Home Services looked after us so well, making sure that we had everything that we needed so that we could go about our long, long days of work while we were in Ghana. They showed such care for us - from speaking with the taxi driver from the hotel who could not find the road and then coming out to meet us, home-cooked breakfasts with local porridge, eggs, and fresh fruit, advice about travelling, areas we should visit, gifts we should give, to making sure we were home safely each day. On our final day one of our interviewees asked us where we were staying, and we told her. She said "I've never heard of it. I hope that means it is one of the little home places, they are the absolute best places to stay in Accra. They are so much better than the big hotels". We couldn't agree more. We had such a lovely time in Accra, even though we were there on business and not for fun. We wholeheartedly recommend Charis Home Services.
