The whole experience form checking in, delicious evening snacks with a drink in the outdoor beer garden, helpful and friendly staff, great cooked breakfast right through checking out was a fantastic experience. Room was spacious and clean. Surrounding walks were lovely too.

We booked this b&b because of the rave reviews it got. It deserves all of them. It was a magical place. Great location and the inside was just beautiful! We loved the family room (comfy beds, super clean, it has everything you could possibly need). Michael was very friendly. I could have sat in the breakfast room all day… the view, the decorations.. we loved it all.

Very quirky! Lovely and warm. A few essentials were a nice touch- milk, tea, coffee etc. Room was spotless! Bed was Uber comfy. Communication from the owners was excellent and friendly!

Great starting point for hiking and visiting other locations (and villages around Peak District) by train or a visit of Chatsworth House with bus stations nearby. You can find everything you need within a walking distance of 10 minutes. To be fair it was our first stay at a cottage but it exeeded our expectations with its amazing condition. Exceptionally clean! Lovely picked furniture and detailed interior can make you sense the hosts passion for maintaining the cottage and giving you the best possible stay in a house this age. Pure joy to help maintain a nice building by a pleasant holiday stay.

    Great location for our needs. On site free car park to. Rooms set in a courtyard which makes it very private & very quiet. Helpful & pleasant staff welcomed us & showed us to our room. The room was very nice, very clean & bright. Tea & coffee, bottles of water & biscuits. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice & cooked & presented very well. Overall a very pleasant stay.     Ideal location. Had everything we needed. Thoughtful touches made by the owners. Loved the outside space to sit in during the evening. Breakfast was superb with friendly staff. Good food available in their all day cafe. Car park across the road. Handy shop up the hill in Crich. Near to tramway museum and Cromford. Nice walks nearby.
