Again a perfect 10 for all the right reasons: 1 Communications with host Ann(ie) was clear and prompt to get us to the right place at the right time. 2 The Estate is clearly visible from the road, but not close to the road: nice and quiet. 3 Enough and good parking places on the premisses. 4 The estate does not look very big for the outside but surely is! It has been transformed from a former separate house for preparing for hunting, to a stylish modern villa, with a tea terrace in a huge tree behind the house. 5 Annie took great care in decorating each room and terrace - each room had its own - with great care for consistent style. She loves tigers and in pictures and statues the animals are omnipresent; not the real ones by the way. 6 The kitchen is enormous, yet cosy and beautiful, very clean and great for having breakfast. 7 The garden is well maintained. 8 The bathroom is private and immaculate with thick towels 9 Excellent bed, beautiful and comfortable linnens 10 Across the street - less than a minute away - is de the Burns-Wallace memorial: a pile of stones near the river, just a modest staircase away, easy accessible, with poetry on the pile. 'Worth the detour'! What stands out most is Annies hospitality. With a nice Scottish touch, she is full of stories, advice for day visits, and prepares and serves breakfast the way you wish. For the cereal lover, at least 10 varieties. We choose eggs and croissants with coffee (and tested several cereals). Nothing is a problem for her. She showed us around in her beautiful Estate of which she is really proud, for obvious reasons. This is what we wanted and got plenty of it.

Fabulous from the moment we arrived excellent free parking to the reception greeting. Super professional and shown to our room something many hotels lack these days except abroad. Our room was superb spacious and beautifully decorated with attention to detailing especially the bathroom design choices we'd have choosen for our building projects. We were made to feel super welcome and the staff very attentive. The public areas again beautifully furnished and recently completed in February we were told. Our buffet breakfast for starters a good selection of cereals, natural yogurt with berry compote, fruits, juices and bread. We are offered a cooked breakfast of our choice to create. Definitely look forward to staying here again to get to the Arran ferry a few minutes drive away. Dogs are super welcome in some rooms.

The outstanding views made me really homesick, absolutely stunning views of Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Ayrshire coast. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very spacious. Staff were very professional and friendly. The breakfast is to die for. As a Scot who lives abroad to be able to come to a hotel with such a breakfast choice where I can build my own with the breakfast items I love and miss is a real treat. Thank you

Great sized property offering good value for money. Whilst Prestwick itself doesn't have a huge amount in the immediate area (sorry Prestwick, I say that affectionately a former Ayrshire native), it is a handy base for exploring the various attractions of South Ayrshire. We stayed with kids and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Convenient private parking. Communication with hosts was easy and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

    This place is a little gem. Ideal location from Ayr. In a lovely village. 5 star restaurant with exceptional food. It has a lovely bar which was very lively, but welcoming , whilst i stayed. Made to feel welcome by staff and locals. Excellent value for money, with breakfast included 😳. My room was of a good standard with a very comfortable and welcoming bed. Tea , coffee, kettle. Flat screen tv and excellent WIFI. Had no issues streaming from firestick 👌.Ensuite toilet and shower. Shower had good pressure and very warm.

    Breakfast was ideal, your preference individually cooked and served quickly. Good choice on menu although perhaps a little fruit salad could be added. Dined in Kailyard restaurant which is tastefully decorated and food delicious. Would thoroughly recommend the chicken breast stuffed with cheese and parma ham. Location was perfect for ourselves, village very quaint and peaceful. Beds extremely comfortable. Staff so friendly and helpful especially Erin.
