The accommodation was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. Situated in a quiet area with plenty of free parking space. It is situated close to bus routes and is less than a 10 minute walk to the train and bus stations. It's within a 15-minute walk to the Quay and the Dolphin shopping centre. The shower was powerful, continental style breakfast with a variety of serial, fruit juice, toast, jams, tea and coffee etc. Sue is very helpful, and will go above and beyond to help her guests have an enjoyable stay. I have used other guest houses in Poole in the past but didn't find them as enjoyable and pleasant as Cranborne House. I stayed for a week in June, and have re-booked a second week in August.

An excellent stay in a lovely family home, the room was very private but felt part of the home. The hosts very friendly and welcoming, they had thought of everything in the room to make the stay an wonderful experience. They were full of local information, particularly in suggesting a place to eat in the evening. Breakfast was first class. Area and house were very quiet at night, some aircraft nopise from nearby airport but not over whelming.

We booked last minute for 1 night, got a 2 bedroom suite for the price of a room, friendly, welcoming atmosphere, hosts are happy to help and talk to you, free cooled bottled water, and snacks and coffee machine in a kind of community room with a big fridge for common use, hair conditioner (not only shampoo and soap), very well refurbished, maintained and nicely decorated rooms, great beds (with 4 pillows per person), working Netflix on TV

Carla was wonderful. She is so passionate about the area and happy to share her recommendations. Her home is in a great location for the park and quay. She has everything you need and nothing is too much trouble. It was a pleasure to stay there, peaceful and comfy. I would definitely stay again if I need to go to the area.

    Such a gorgeous property! The little touches of bread, orange juice and some other bits as well as fresh flowers were lovely. The house was very clean and the hot tub was spotless. Location was perfect, nice and quiet but a short taxi ride to the town.
