The room was enormous and super comfortable, I was not expecting to get the suite, but was the only available, and the price was matching other accommodations on the area... but the basic, so it is great plus. The facilities are finely decorated, including the pub downstairs... the breakfast and the service was amazing. I could not imagine to be at a better place for a long travel break.

This address is not to be forgotten and we'll certainly be back on our visits from Belgium to family in Derbyshire. All staff extremely pleasant,professional and helpful. The whole house had everything you need for a perfect stay lots of little extras like tea coffee sugars Fairy liq washing tabs etc The cooking equipment was excellent everything you would want and more so many little extras which made it perfect .

    The facilities within the lodge are excellent: plenty of space, natural light and everything is in good working order. We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Kitchen is very well equipped with a big fridge/freezer and plenty of appliances, pots, pans etc to prepare a hearty meal. The walking paths and the beautiful countryside are literally at the door step. The location is quiet and peaceful, with birds chirping nearby. All staff members were friendly and helpful. We would love to return in the future.
