It was very cosy, modern technology for the lights and heating. Compact but enough space for a couple. The spa was the cherry ontop. Extra little gestures for the experience also like hot chocolate for coming in from the spa etc.

Lyn and Simon are lovely hosts - very helpful and friendly. The fire pit was a hit and the Huts were gorgeous. Beautiful surrounds and good shopping just a few minutes drive down the road. Good bus service close by too.

What an amazing place, gorgeous in the snow, stunning surroundings, and a fabulous breakfast. Meeting the boxers Pepper, Peggy and Lily and Annette is a wonderful caring host. Staying here has been the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended.

We had such a lovely time here. The room was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met — warm, welcoming, and truly caring. The house is beautifully maintained, and the location is peaceful yet close to Edinburgh. We felt right at home and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff! Wonderful room with big and comfortable bed. Dinner in the Inn was great and very well priced. Great selection of 'grab and go' breakfast set out when leaving the next morning! Only about 20 minutes drive to Edinburgh. I would definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful stay in Edinburgh! This 4-bedroom villa in Morningside was everything we hoped for and more. Each room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with high-end finishes. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the entire space felt like a luxury retreat. The kitchen and living areas were perfect for our group — modern, fully equipped, and ideal for relaxing or entertaining. We really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the home.     The location was ideal, and the room was spacious and very modern, despite being in an old historic building. Evening meal was excellent (wine was a bit pricy though). Staff were good and attentive. Settings and surrounding of the hotel were excellent
