Sarah was such a lovely friendly host. Her home was beautiful in a quiet location with lovely views. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean and very comfortable. Lovely touches like a delicious chocolate on the bed, great local knowledge and a friendly little dog !

Andy & Amanda were FABULOUS HOSTS! Very personable, generous, kind and most interesting people. When we arrived at their home, we mentioned that we planned to walk to the archives (for my work), some distance away. Andy offered to drive us, which permitted us time to relax in the cottage and have tea and cookies (provided). After we were refreshed, Andy gave us a mini-travelogue while driving us around Ely before dropping us at the archives.

Best to phone the hotel and book directly with them and you will get 20% off your evening meal. I booked a double bed room through booking.com and ended up with a twin room with 2 single beds not a happy bunny with B.com and will not be using again. Breakfast is cooked fresh with a great continental selection and well worth the money.

    Re-imagining of a pub for the 2020s. Lots of comfortable outside space, mainly no smoking 🚭 Good selection of wines and beers/ciders. Modern comfortable bedrooms with showers. All very clean. The staff were really friendly and engaging, shout-out to Josh, who was also on breakfast duty. The menu was brief but interesting, the food well cooked, hot and tasty.

    Location, price to facilties ratio, proximity to Ely and King's Lynn. The rooms were far better than many hotels, modern and bright with thoughtful features. The staff were pleasant, attentive and Informative. The Three Pickerels had a lovely local vibe. An excellent stay.

    Superb in all areas. Lovely modern very large room. Wonderful en suite - roomy and spotless with a powerful shower. Optional breakfast was good value at £10 and the cooked full English breakfast was massive, with high quality ingredients and well cooked and presented. Ditto evening meal and Sunday lunch. Lovely location next to the river.
