Hostess and family were so friendly and accommodating. The room was gorgeous, clean and with the most amazing view. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Wish we had longer to explore the area and see the town during opening hours (most things close by late afternoon). Would love to come back some day.

The location was wonderful, with incredible historic sites in walking distance of the cottage. The cottage was beautifully presented and lovely and clean. It was spacious and very comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit in the area.

Andrew met us on arrival and showed us around quickly before leaving the place to us. Him and Iona have been easily contactable and super lovely. The place was clean, cosy and had lots of extra goodies on arrival for us. The views were amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate coming back!

One of the best places we have ever been to - tranquil and peaceful, with beautiful views across the bay. The hotel has a great atmosphere of old times. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We certainly want to come back and stay longer!

    Very welcoming hosts , the whole property is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean .Thoughtful touches in the bedroom , like milk and water in the fridge. Super comfy bed , quiet location and only 5 minutes stroll into town .Breakfast was amazing with an excellent choice of options , including cooked. Will defetinely return .

    Breakfast was excellent, Stornoway Pudding...sold....milk and fruit juices in small individual bottles...great idea....location right on waterfront was beautiful....bedroom was well appointed, comfy bed and great view, huge bathroom, perfect for an overnight or longer stay. Owners very friendly and professional. House in general was spotless with decoration to suit. Highly recommend.
