Turadh was one of seven pods on the hillside overlooking Dunbeath harbour and beach. There are spectacular views from the property and great walks nearby. Despite being on the main road the pods are well insulated from the noise of passing traffic. It was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The facilities were great. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. They also prepared two of the most delicious pizzas we have ever tasted . We would highly recommend a stay here.

The views were incredible and the pod was lovely and warm. the shower was great and we enjoyed both the cocktails and pizzas from the hosts! they were very kind and let us know that the northern lights were visible during our stay which made it even more beautiful and memorable. we would definitely come back! x

5* Amazing place for a cute night away I came with my friend and we thought it was so lovely. We stayed with the pod with the hot tub which was such a treat and we ordered a pizza each from the bay owl which was a lovely touch that gets delivered to your pod. 10/10 recommend staying here either as a couple or friends just wanting a cute night away. 🥰🍾🥂

So peaceful! The property was very comfortable, and had everything you could need, including cushions for the outdoor furniture. Property was clean, well stocked, and the furnishings were very comfortable. Check in and check out instructions were clear, and much appreciated. The information booklet was comprehensive, and if I were staying longer, I would have made more use of it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Everything you need when on the NC500 drive. The room was super cozy, bathroom stylish and very clean, every room has a little balcony with slide doors, so we enjoyed fresh air from garden all evening. Delicious breakfast and really recommend getting a charcuterie board too, amazing value for money and allows tasting so much local produce in one go. Best night rest we had on the road by far.

    Amazing location with views of the sea. Hot tub was a bonus and so so clean. Host was very accommodating and a service was offered for homemade pizza delivery which was very welcome after driving all day.

    Do not be put off by these being 'pods'. They were top of the range, very clean, very roomy and very comfortable. The hosts from the on site restaurant very super friendly and the food there is great.

    Location. Lovely view down to the sea. Easy check in. Spotless. Well equipped. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in (I stay in c.20 different hotels p.a.). The owners helped move our luggage to the next place (we are hiking John O'Groats Trail and needed help due to blistering feet). I'd go back just to enjoy the best bed ever!!!

    The location was ideal for us as a first nights stay as it was a short drive from Inverness on the NC500. The view over the sea from the window was great. The bed was very comfy.

    The Pods are in an ideal location for exploring sights around the NC500. The view is amazing and accommodation is finished to a very high standard - the bed was more comfortable than I’ve slept in in 5 star hotels! The little finishing touches of ground coffee and beautiful toiletries were the cherry on top! Thank you Michelle and Jon 😀
