The location is spectacular with nature literally right at your doorstep. Getting woken up by a pheasant on the roof of your pod at 5.30 was annoying but special at the same time. I sat with the door open with a cup of tea watching him watching me until he got bored and wandered off. The pod and the showers/bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Didn't really use the kitchen except to boil water, but that was clean too. Gemma was really kind letting me use the shower after I got a bit lost on an overly ambitious mountain bike ride and got back just minutes before the 11am check-out time. Thank you! It's a pity it was only for a one night stop off....next year I will spend more time here.

I had an amazing stay during my solo trip! The staff is extremely lovely and friendly, always willing to help and give you directions and advice for the area and local shops. Only 15 minutes walk from the restaurants/pubs of Dunkeld, and only 1 hour drive to Glenshee Ski Centre. I'll definitely be back!! Thank you again for the lovely stay 😊

What a fantastic location, on the corner of this lovely little place Dunkeld. Across is a bridge which takes you to a forest, you can have some nice walks around. Parking was no issue, the hotel has some spots but the street had plenty of spaces. This is your typical dog friendly hotel. Good breakfast.

Very comfortable stay. Friendly and hospitable staff who greeted us and looked after us very well during our stay, including giving great local tips on things to do etc. Great breakfast, with a variety of options. We loved every minute spent here. The room is in the same house with the owners, but separate entrance, so full privacy. It's an elegant tipycal scottish cottage, spotless clean and comfortable. We found everything we needed and more: tea, coffee, cookies, soft drinks and fresh fruit. Owners are fantastic and they make you feel like home. We spent the evening with them and their two gorgeous and lovely dogs and received so many great tips for our trip. Filip prepared an amazing breakfast next morning. They are really, trully great people and excellent hosts!

    Great location, the property had lots of space, very clean, with a fantastic welcome pack on arrival. Lots of good local walks, minuets from the river house. Great, large extensive rear garden with good facilities.
