It was a lovely house to stay in with high ceilings and a massive room. The bed was comfortable and the walk in shower room was offered to me as an upgrade. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Madeleine’s lovely B&B. The place was spotlessly clean, the shower was great, and every morning Madeleine brought us a delicious fresh breakfast. The house was a lot more luxurious than I thought it would be. It’s all quite new I think, very clean, and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. The area is quiet as you’re surrounded by nature, and you can watch the birds and squirrels from the living room. the little cafe and play area on the property are nice as well.

This is a one-unit apartment above a nice café (the smell of bacon in the morning was very alluring), with nice space and privacy. It is excellently located on the sea front in the Old Town, with plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. As we left a window open to keep cool at night, some of the noise of early morning (and seagulls) came through, but there was not a lot to be done about that. We would happily return if in Hastings.
