Fabulous Community owned pub. Room was bright and airy, comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Bar was a typical old fashion pub, with the staff and locals very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were both wonderful. Would highly recommend staying here

Our 2nd time and most definitely not our last. It’s a beautiful cottage with all you need for your stay. It’s perfect for relaxing, walking, pubs, shops. The bedrooms are all lovely and the beds comfy. It’s clean, warm and has enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts are great and very responsive. They also send you lots of info on what’s available locally and a little further afield but we just park up the car and chill in Masham as it’s lovely as are the people. You will not be disappointed if you book this place!

    I much appreciated the milk, bread, butter, eggs, biscuits etc on my arrival. I loved the location, it is really peaceful but convenient to get to shops etc. The property was very clean and very well fitted out with modern equipment. The shower was easy to operate with wet hands and a good hot flow of water. The bed was extremely comfortable. I had a couple of small queries and David answered my texts almost immediately.

    Great location, just a few minutes drive from A1 so ideal for stopover to break the journey. Our double room was quite small but I know there are varying sizes so others might be bigger but we were happy with it for a one night stay. Bathroom very clean, modern and spacious. Nice breakfast with attentive and friendly service. Would definitely stay again.
