Lovely couple who greeted us, explained everything we needed to know. Kids loved the grounds, the swings, the outside toys that were provided and the indoor toys were easy accessible and was such a nice touch. Rooms were super clean, beds nice, just a little lower than I would have liked, and a firm mattress. We had a very restful nights sleep. A lovely continental breakfast to finish off our stay before heading to our final destination.

This place was a convenient stop for us between Mont Saint Michel and the DDay attractions. We slept really well. The host Madelaine also made us a great breakfast in the morning. We paid extra for dinner as well and it was superb. You can order off her menu before you arrive.

Lovely quiet location with parking. Friendly English speaking hosts. Good wifi and tv, fab coffee machine while the bed chamber upstairs has to be seen to be believed: elegant, beautifully decorated with a super comfy bed.

Such a peaceful and quiet town, with warm and kind hosts—and not to forget their wonderful cat, Lucky! The hospitality was truly great. A special thanks for the delicious homemade dinners and breakfasts, featuring Normandy specialties. It was a truly authentic and memorable experience. Eric and Elizabeth also shared helpful information about the region, including Mont Saint-Michel, the D-Day beaches, and Cancale. Normandy is full of places to discover, and their recommendations made our stay even richer. We sincerely thank you for the lovely stay at Le Logis du Gast.

it was an old traditional French house been in their family for five generations. Eric and Elizabeth were wonderful. breakfast was great. there are no shops or restaurants in town so make sure you message ahead of time and ask for the half board option, it’s great good food and great value.

The property had a lovely rustic/traditional charm. The rooms are big and airy, beautiful views and the garden is lovely to sit out in the evening sun after a busy day out. The location was perfect for us as we like to get out and about and see the historic sights of Normandy, feels like you’re deep in the beautiful countryside but only a few minutes from the main highway. The hosts Ed and Donna can’t do enough for you, easily contactable and reply very quickly.

Loved the rustic charm of this spacious family house in a tiny hamlet in rural location. The host was lovely and the addition of wine (both flavours) butter, milk, bread and jam etc to help start our stay , was very much a bonus and much appreciated. Beds were comfortable and the gardens peaceful and good to walk around.
