The stay at Battery Valley Farm was excellent. It was a unique experience for us. It is an active farm located not far from the town of Albert. The place offers cozy and pleasant rooms and a breakfast that includes farm-fresh ingredients. We arrived with only one day to visit the monuments and museums dedicated to the Battle of the Somme and were quite confused about how to plan our day. We received a lot of help from Mireille, the owner, who is a great expert in tourism in the area. Mireille presented us with the available options and helped us organize our visit. The farm is in an excellent location for those who want to explore the region's history during World War I. Thank you, Mireille, Frederic, Stark, and Simon. We hope to meet you again. Rima and Ilan

    The cottage was beautiful, spacious and in excellent order with high specifications. There are two shower and toilet rooms so ideal for a group. Everything was very clean and we loved every minute. There is a lovely outdoor area with dining table chairs and loungers, which as the weather was beautiful we used every day.

    The house was extremely well equipped, enabling us to make meals as we would have at home. Two large beds upstairs was a bonus. There is an option to sleep downstairs too. The yard was completely secure for our dogs or other people's children. The bathroom is spacious with a good shower. Yockem was also very pleasant and helpful. The location was ideal for our explorations of the Somme memorials and Albert is an attractive small town. We were always able to park across the street or close by.
