This fascinating property had been lovingly restored and modernised by the most delightful couple. Lots of old stone, artefacts from the grounds had been thoughtfully refashioned, all alongside modern furnishings. It felt quite a privilege to be enjoying this Old building which had had new life breathed into it. We had a very tasty 3 course dinner and breakfast was truly excellent. I could not recommend this delightful property more highly. Just sad that we will probably never travel this road again. The owners spent time chatting to us telling us about the renovation journey and we left feeling as though we were old friends.

It was absolutely beautiful, and the village was so peaceful. The renovations amazing. So much history to investigate and the walk up to the ancient church and castle ruins spectacular.
