We are group that was travelling around in Europe before reaching Egypt and Marsa Alam was our first destination in Egypt. Gemma resort set the bar high to our expectations for the rest of the trip and an extraordinary example for Egyptian hospitality. Everything in the hotel was perfect. The rooms spacious and cleans, pools clean and in different locations and beaches were amazing with great snorkeling spots. I can not speak enough about the food, no moment in the day where food is not served and in different cuisines with amazing quality. The most interesting part to me thing is that everyone is assuring you are having good time in your stay and I literally mean EVERYONE. Whether it is Mr Mahmoud, Hazem and Mohamed on the front desk or Atef and Abdo on the pool and the beach or Chef Mohamed Salah in the kitchen, every single one of these gentlemen made sure that our stay was comfortable and did not hesitate to provide the required assistance.

The hotel is beautifully designed, and really nicely furnished. We stayed in a family room with pool access - it's not so much a private pool, because it's shared with a few other rooms, but you have a section of it to yourself. The hotel was opened just a few weeks ago, so it was almost entirely empty. Everyone was super nice and friendly, especially Ahmend and Khalifa in the beach bar! Location is excellent - directly in front of the hotel there is an underwater meadow, which brings turtles and sea cows in every day, there's a diving centre on the beach and the reef can be found a short swim away to the edge of the bay.

My wife and I stayed here as a couple. We're not fans of resorts or noisy family destinations, as we prefer a peaceful vacation, and this place exceeded our expectations. The resort is recently built, and even though it was in soft opening, almost everything was open and functioning. The food quality was good—sometimes even very good—and the fresh seafood was very good as well. The buffet-style restaurants offered high-quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes, and we never encountered crowds. We visited in late November and enjoyed very pleasant weather, ranging from 24°C to 28°C, though it was quite windy, something to keep in mind. The sea was a bit choppy due to the wind, but we were always able to swim, and the water wasn’t dangerous or too cold. The coral reef was beautiful and quite colorful. There are also interesting places nearby for excursions, including a stunning nature reserve close by. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially the managers, who demonstrated genuine care for the guests and a high level of professionalism. The younger staff were sometimes a bit inexperienced in guest interactions, but they always showed a very human and sincere side. The housekeeping team was exceptional: the place was spotless, including all the common areas, which is not something you see everywhere. Attention to detail was impressive. On my birthday, the staff worked with my wife to surprise me in our room, even providing a complimentary birthday cake with a personalized message! The pools are very beautiful, though they were cold during our stay. However, I imagine they’re perfect in summer. Some pools were heated, and those were pleasant. The gym was well-equipped and suitable for a workout. Our room was stunning, with an incredibly comfortable king-size bed and a huge, beautiful shower in the bathroom. We had a fantastic and relaxing time overall. I gave a 10 because, on top of that positive experience, the price-quality ratio was unbeatable.

The stay at Jaz Amara exceeded our expectations! Everything was perfect. The staff is amazing, friendly, professional, attentive, always with the smile and make you feel like home. The food in all restaurants was delicious, offering a big variety of dishes for every taste. Room was spacious and super clean, everyday with a sweet decoration.. Facilities were great - pool area, also for kids and the beach everything we needed. It was the perfect place for relaxed vacation.

Reef house it's a great place. From staff which are very polite to the host Hassan who gives your a warm welcome and does what he can to make your stay as much enjoyable at possible. Area is under development so you should expect some dust from construction work but everything was spotless clean. We really enjoyed our stay at Iberotel. It's a great place, we were able to see sea turtles and dugongs. The hotel itself is new, modern, comfortable, with great food and friendly staff. Every morning at breakfast we were greeted by Dina with a big smile and we immediately felt like we were at home. We could turn to her or to any member of the staff with any question, for any help. Our child was delighted with her, the staff and Chef's Heyden's incredible team who treated us from morning to evening. The food was very varied, for every taste, and changing each day. The entertainment program was great and varied. We loved the animation team of Mr Simba, and all artists who performed for us. All the staff were very friendly and made our holiday unforgettable. We initially planned to stay for 4 nights, but we liked it so much that we came back for another 3 nights. We will definitely come here again.

It's a cheap, clean location and the best option to stay in Marsa Alam. The owner, Omar, is amazing, the rooftop is perfect. You meet other people and you will have a nice breakfast in the morning. I live in egypt and will always stay there, if i visit Marsa Alam... Shukran 🙏🏾

We felt very comfortable. It was a clean spacious room! There was a great roof terrace with sea view. It was not far to the small town center where you can find everything we have eaten one of the tastiest faleaffel there and súper cheap !People were friendly everywhere! The location is very quiet around around are many unfinished houses. We were a great diving spot 10 minutes away Awlad Baraka Dive Center.
