Superb Guest House at the Elephantile island in a Nubian village setting, across the Ferry from KFC,10 mts, then 10 mts walk, Modern rooms, very clean, superb garden setting, great wall nubian paintings, magical terrace sit out, all very colourfully lit. since no vehicles of any type, very quiet. big room tastefully furnished, powerfull shower. booked group Van tour with the Guest house for Abu Simbel. Best part of our stay, two dinners & one lunch we had at King Jamaica restaurant, on River, where the jetty lands for the island ie 10 mts walk. superb Nile views, great Fish & succulent beef meals. No alchohol, value for money, great music.

I know JJ since 1995, he was a feluccacaptain. He still organizes trips but has als opened this lovely place. Nice and neat rooms, with silent AC. Great rooftop eating place for breakfast and lunch. And you're on elephantine Island!

Beautiful and unique Nubian design; friendly and caring staff members; excellent cooking from the hotel kitchen and really good location close to the market for strolling and shopping. My wife and I stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel and wished we would have stayed longer. The hotel owner (Tamer) and his nephew (Mo) made us feel at home, helping us organising trips at very fair prices and preparing delicious breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel is located in a Nubian village, on the West Bank of the Nile. You can get there very easily for 10 EGP per person with the public ferry. The atmosphere in the hotel and the village is very relaxed, which we absolutely loved after coming from very busy cities like Cairo and Alexandria. One of our highlights was the morning run + swim in the Nile that we did with Mo, who showed us the best spots in the village and in Aswan. We will definitely come back to visit these guys who became our family for some days

    David and his wife are incredibly helpful when it comes to traveling Aswan on a budget. They organized tours for me during the entirety of my stay and at the cheapest price possible. You cannot find these deals anywhere else and they were very nice about everything. I'd recommend this place to any budget traveler.

    Easy to get to location just off from the south port for the elephantine ferry as it is the building following your first left. Ferry was only 10egp for visitors and was very easy for accessing the east bank. The room was spacious with two comfortable beds and a very efficient air conditioning system. Hosts were very friendly and helpful for booking an affordable trip to Abu simbel. Definitely would stay at this venue again.

    Perfect location. It’s beautiful, the room is big, the balcony is super lovely, the rooftop is amazing, their prices for food and tours are really affordable and cheap. I loved how peaceful it was. I was just chilling in the balcony looking at the Nile and felt so incredibly good. Thanks for eveything!
