Design, functionality, great location, excellent customer service. We arrived on a particularly hot day and there was ice cream in the fridge! I also appreciated the yoga mat, reusable water bottles, bag for groceries shopping and many other small details that made our stay truly comfortable.

The room was equipped with sauna, which was great after long day on a rally event. Very easy to control. Next time I will book the same room. You can also go straight to the shopping mall by the elevator as the hotel is connected to Launakeskus, the biggest shopping centre in Tartu.

Tampere Maja is a guesthouse founded by Tartu and Tampere. It is a small cosy house with some 7 rooms. It is very close to the centre but located in a quiet street. There is a gallery on the ground floor. The rooms are simple but clean and have everything one needs. Wifi works well. There is also a kitchen with a kettle and a fridge (and more, but I did not need a kitchen, so I did not check). Breakfast is served from 8 am, it is rather simple but fine. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at the Tampere Maja and would not hesitate to stay there again if back to Tartu.

Everything was in perfect order. If you don't need accommodation right in the historical center, I recommend this one. Unusual view of the surroundings, quiet location, close to the shopping center and public transport. The apartment was perfectly clean and tidy, we didn't miss anything there.
