Nice nostalgic place to stay, I've been there several times in the past. I visited 6 lakes there: 2 bigger in Elva, another bigger one near this place and also three smaller lakes within 3 km. Nice walking path in the forest, nice birdsong around the building and in the forest (in spring). The path of Tartu ski marathon is very beautiful, like a wide highway in the middle of the forest. I like the small houses spread around the main house between trees. The toilets and shower room are common for the whole level and there are separate levels for men and women (men in the ground floor). There's a possibility of using fridge (check the cable first that it is plugged in!), microwave and a small water boiler for boiling about 1 litre of water. The water in the taps had a strong iron taste so I didn't use it for drinking, not even boiled. There was TV in the room, wifi worked, even with IPv6 directly from the internet service provider. Curtains in the room could be closed for night pretty well so the early morning brightness didn't come too much in the room. It was quiet during the night and the window could be closed well enough so that the bird sounds didn't wake up too early. The gunshots (as for practice by some people who come and practice there) could be disturbing to some, they echo kilometres away in the forest and to Elva but it wasn't that bad for me; in the building they are less audible than when being outside.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Much better than having a hotel room, was perfect for me and my friend as the room came with a double pull out sofa aswell as the double bed. Coffee machine was an added bonus

Everything! As I told Reception on my way out this morning after three absolutely delightful nights there, this was not a *five*-star hotel, but rather a *seven*-star one! As soon as we arrived, we were given a super-upgrade to a large room, lavishly decorated with drapes and period-piece furniture fit for royalty. I actually had to go back to Reception for confirmation that they had indeed assigned us to the right room! In addition, the breakfast buffet was outstanding on each of the three days of our stay. I can single out the croissants, apple strudel, cheesecake, variety of jams, and fruit salad as particularly excellent items. I reckon this hotel must have hired a pastry chef par excellence to achieve the level of culinary satisfaction that we experienced. Moreover, the staff at Reception were invariably friendly, courteous, cheerful and helpful. I would like to identify one of the staff in particular, Vanessa, who was always willing to go the extra mile to answer our questions about sites of interest. She even ventured out into the cold one day to point us in the right direction for the Botanical Gardens. If ever we visit Tartu again someday, I would choose the Hotel Antonius in a heartbeat. Kudos to the hotel staff for making this such a memorable three days!

It is an excellent apartment, comfortable bed, comfortable sofa, the kitchen is large. enough lighting comes in. The entrance was very easy because it is autonomous and that makes it easier at the time that one arrives without problem. without a doubt recommended a thousand times

Cosy modern place with everything you need and great location. Right next to the main road and close to the train station as well. Since this was my first visit to Tartu, I was pleasantly surprised.
