The staff were excellent, exceptionally helpful, and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The room was very good, clean, and larger than we anticipated. The bed was comfortable and the linen was of a very high standard. Breakfast was a very fresh buffet with a good level of choice.

This place is a highlight of my trip. It is a perfect 10. The view from the patio is like a photo in a travel brochure. If you visit the Black Forest area I highly recommend to include a stop in Saint Peter and stay here.

We only stopped in Waldkirch just for 1 night because we visited the Black Forest. Our short stay was fantastic and Helmut was the kindest! Since you only have one bedroom, the house is probably better for families rather than two couples for longer stays.

A great studio apartment in Bleibach, a quiet village on the train 40 mins from Freiburg and easy to access nature. We stayed for four nights. Notably extremely well equipped with high quality kitchen equipment, lacking nothing. We were super impressed. I communicated with the host on whatsapp (in poor German) and everything went extremely well, speaking briefly in person. We'd happily stay here again.
