It is wonderful holidays apartment, on the first floor of the owners house. Everything in the apartment was sparkling, very well done, very cozy. The bed was super comfortable, the surrounding is very quiet, which provides good tight sleep. Bathroom is amazing, I would love to have one like this at my home. The hosts are very nice and communicative, it was a pleasure to meet them.

We had the great pleasure of visiting Engel 16 in Gutach, and from the very first moment we felt truly welcome. Astrid and Victor greeted us warmly with champagne and gave us an excellent introduction to the Black Forest area, especially the many beautiful hiking routes. They were always smiling, attentive, and genuinely kind. Victor, always smiling and polite, prepared the meals himself with the finest ingredients — and every dish was simply outstanding. Each morning, the breakfast buffet was perfectly prepared and ready for us, a wonderful way to start the day. Astrid made sure we enjoyed the perfect drinks and hospitality throughout our stay, which made us feel truly at home. All in all, Engel 16 is a beautiful and peaceful place with fantastic food and outstanding service. Thank you so much, Astrid and Victor, for this unforgettable stay! What an amazing place to spend a week! Extremely comfortable bed for two tall Dutchies. Very clean and new. We cooked the whole week and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony made us look up house prices in the area, we loved it so much. You even have a view from the shower! The perfect place to rest after a day of activities, of which there are plenty in the area. We got a lot of tips from our host and had the best time.

Everything was Super! The apartment was great, clean, and spacious, with a gorgeous view from the window and terrace! The owners were very polite and pleasant. They instantly answered any questions on WhatsApp. At check-in, we were waiting for a nice little surprise in the form of sweets for us and our dog. Convenient covered parking. We will definitely come back if we are in that region!

Everything was amazing!!!! the hosts were lovely people very warm and caring. The place was a real fairy land with astonishing view from the windows and located in a well connected place. There are trains every hour going basically everywhere. AND FOR 3,15 euros YOU GET A CARD TO USE ALL THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT OF THE REGION FOR FREE!!! I can't stress enough how perfect everything was. Third floor modern apt. Nice and gentle host who lives on the ground floor. She took care of all we needed and beyond. Kitchen is fully equipped, everything you need in a flat you'll find there. Every detail was thought of. Homey, quiet atmosphere and special treats. Even though a noisy ravine is right by the house, the windows are isolating any noise. Very comfortable shower.
