Absolutely amazing place. Very nice owner. The house is very spacious, clean and comfortbale. Kitchen is well equipped. Location is excellent. If you come by train you just need to climb 1km uphill. Thank you for a great stay.

Luxurious room overlooking the castle, and a restaurant/ inn feel at the front, where with the other guests we could drink and eat, and enjoy the quiet evenings after all the castle visitors have headed off. Very extensive breakfast buffet in the morning to fuel you for the days adventure. The hotel is also part of the scheme where you get a pass for local buses, trains and ferries. It’s brilliant- absolutely the best way to explore the region and cut down on traffic. Evening BBQ on second night may have been a one-off - it was certainly a great way to end another days walking!

The apartment was bright, airy & spacious, and perfectly located close to Königstein train station. It was thoughtfully stocked, especially the kitchen, which had everything needed to cook full meals comfortably. The best part was the incredible view overlooking the Elbe River and the rolling hills beyond. The apartment was a peaceful, scenic base for exploring Saxon Switzerland.

The building is situated in front of a park with a fountain, 15 minutes on the ferry from the train station, 5-minute walk from the town centre, and 3-minute walk from the bus that will take you two the National park that is only two stops away. The situation of the building is simply perfect! The apartment itself is specious, light, clean, nicely furnished. It has a bedroom and a big living room, each has a double bed in it. The owner of the apartment are very hospitable and caring, I could feel it, despite not meeting them, as the check-in process is authorised. I don't think I could've found a better place to stay in Bad Schandau or surrounding towns.
