This is an exceptional place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just what we like. They bent over backwards to find us a room after booking.com didn’t send them our updated dates. They could not have treated us better.

Great location in the middle of the rainforest, breakfast and dinner were also good. Very immersive experience. Stayed in tent, everything was perfect - just know that being in the middle of the rainforest and it rains it is hard to dry anything :) hotel does offer drying service

Both the property itself and its surroundings exceeded my expectations. This is one of those rare cases when photos cannot show what it really is like. How wonderful was it to stay at the Monteverde House with its fully equipped kitchen and fantastic washing machine, which washes and dries clothes in an hour. Nestled at the Curi-Cancha Reserve making it a haven for bird and wildlife watching. Excellent views to the cloud forest and for sunsets. 100 m from a bus stop, 200 m from cafes, shops and restaurants. Excellent communicators and arranged a pick up for me at the bus station in Santa Elena. They give great advice on things to do and book tours, bus, timetables, taxis, etc. Parking on site. So quiet and comfortable. Very spacious and lovely to wake up to hear the chirping of birds. I loved it here and wish to highly recommend the Monteverde House.

Breakfast was provided and was excellent. The options were hearty with fresh fruit and fresh juice with coffee. The host family is lovely and accommodating for early morning tours. They have a beautiful farm and the Cabanas are very nice.

I loved pretty much everything ☺️ Lovely surroundings with birds singing at your window and the rainforest knocking at your door, extremely cool and helpful staff which made the stay even more pleasant, great breakfast both in terms of quality and quantity, hot water in the shower, spacious room.
