One of the things I loved about the hotel was its proximity to nature. Whether you're lounging by the pool or enjoying a meal on the terrace, you're surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views of the jungle. It truly feels like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff at the hotel were also incredibly attentive and welcoming, making sure that our every need was taken care of. We had a fabulous 7 nights. We were in the 1 bedroom air conditioned cabin very close to the pool. Lots of hummingbirds. Fantastic restaurant across the road. We had no car so the bus very convenient for getting back up the very steep hill.

simply the best hostel I’ve ever been in my life, once there you don’t want to leave. The hostel is in a perfect position, 5 min walking from the center of Montezuma so it’s super calm and fresher at night. it’s really immersed in the jungle so you can see iguanas and monkeys from the windows but still it has very good mosquito nets. the dorms are comfy and there are enough bathrooms for all guests. The breakfast is super to start your day.

The manager Mercedes was very helpful and genuinely seemed to care about her guests (she stood out in the rain waiting for us to arrive on the first night). Her activity recommendations were great and she helped us navigate the tides and told us how to go see a baby turtles release. She helped organize a surf lesson, which we enjoyed. The welcome booklet was helpful. The casita was comfy and cute and the pool was inviting. The water was hot, plentiful, and safe to drink. The restaurant next door was delicious! It was a 5 min drive to town and close to the main road, so it was easy to get to. We didn't notice too much road noise. They allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after we checked out. If we come back to Montezuma, we'll stay here again.
