Simple rooms is a great place to stay, offering a great value-for-money ratio. Markus, the owner of the place, is an extremely warm and welcoming person. He makes sure the accommodation is spotlessly clean and comfy, where everyone feels at home. The building is newly renovated and offers new furniture and excellent bathroom facilities. There are also 2 kitchens with cooking facilities and a coffee vending machine. We highly recommend this place.

Beautifully renovated, very clean, and location is amazing! The common use of the large kitchen, living room and patio was great, we shared with a large family who occupied multiple rooms, and everyone was friendly and respectful. We loved our stay at Alte Metzg more than at other hotels on our travels!

    Good location, a little bit from the main road, quiet, with a view of the mountains while lying on the bed. Easy to travel by car to Zurich or Lucerne, or just go for a drive in the mountains. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the apartment had the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay!
