The accommodation was great. Very friendly hosts, helped with any questions. There is a grocery store 100 meters away where you can buy almost everything you need. Very close to the ski resort. From the window, you can see several ski slopes and great mountains view. 4 minutes by car to the resort.

Authentic homestay. A local family with 2 children. The family was lovely and so hospitable and gracious. We had a wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable. The tea and food were amazing. We were served both dinner and breakfast as well as a lovely teatime. The home is in a remote village surrounded by mountains. Well worth the stay the drive up is spectacular and the village setting is so pretty. It is a homestay in a remote village, so the toilet is an outhouse style. There is also a sink with running water in the courtyard to wash up. The family only speaks Azeri and the local village language. But we communicated fine with Google translate. The price listed on booking is per person.

The location, very scenic! Great for hiking. The hotel has great facilities and a range of activities. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Breakfast is varied and tasty. Restaurant has views of the mountains. Rooms are huge. Complimentary use of some spa facilities. Booking.com guests are welcomed with a selection of biscuits in the room which is a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Price / location combination. Ideal for skiing in Shahdag if you have a car - takes around 25 minutes on straight road to get to ski lifts, but 3-4 times cheaper than hotels in resort itself. You also get a separate bungalow, with a nice view.
