What an absolute delight! Of all the family-run hotels, this one shows it the most. Several generations pamper to the guests, and even the friendly little ones (and the adorable dog) pay an occassional visit or greet you when one enters. The real hallmark of the hotel is its restaurant. Breakfast options are wide, and the staff makes sure that all the items are constantly replenished, rather than being left to try on the air for a couple of hours. But the lunch/dinner menu is without competition. While the menu is relatively simple (all food groups are nicely represented by a couple of options), the quality of the food is outstanding. I can especially recommend the beef tagliata and beef tartare. (And our son ate the *entire* spagetthi bolognese portion, which speaks on its own.)

everything is exactly what you’d expect and then some more. the space is deeply creative. I even thought the owners should probably be creatives in an advertising company. it turns out they are just very very creative on their own. 🙂 all details are thoughtful and make sense together and you can feel the love for beauty and fun and creativity in it all. exquisite premises, great views. great comfort. very very good cuisine. and super cool rooftop restaurant! (with an amazing dj!) and, above all, extremely nice stuff. you feel genuinely welcome. we loved it so much that on our last night there we immediately booked a follow up stay for the winter. I guess that says it all. thank you, amazing coolnest team! we look forward to visiting you again!

We had an unforgettable stay in this beautiful Alpine hotel. The host was absolutely friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home from the very first moment. The atmosphere was warm and personal, as if staying with friends.     We had a great stay at Winter's family apartment in Stumm. It was very clean, well equipped and with a great mountain view from both bedrooms. Winter family who manages the property are very nice people. The location is also very close to the main ski resorts in the area.
