Very good location in the middle of the forest. There was 1 km to get from an asphalt road to the location, but it's not a problem to get there by a standard car. Clean. About 3 km to Hohe Wand.

The hotel is located a few minutes from the main road. If you are on your way to Croatia /Italy it's a perfect spot. The hotel is traditional with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. There is a lovely garden where you can have your breakfast in a sunny day. Restaurant is just opposite the hotel. The breakfast was just a perfect buffet with vegan options plus plant based milk. Possibility to receive a coffee and breakfast on the go. There is also a lift what can be useful if you have a few bags or if someone is disabled. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. I think this was the best place I have ever stayed at while on any trip I've ever been to. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are absolutely beautiful with hand-crafted furniture pieces, paintings and drawings are done by hand, not just printed pictures like almost any other place I've been to. The interior in general was beautiful. If you plan on cooking, I think there's nothing missing from the kitchen. And if you go mountain hiking, the trail starts almost next to this place. If anything, I felt like we were underpaying for this good service that we got. I really wish there would be more places like this and I hope to visit this place again very soon :)
