The property is 800 metres from Chiang Rai Saturday Night Walking Street. Chiang Rai Airport is 8 km away. We were staying for three days while visiting Chiang Rai. Our host was as super friendly and spoke perfect english (which is not that common here in Thailand). We got a lot of good and honest tips from him without them having an ulterior motive. Just for him we would probably come back as he also saved our day by getting us a short term transport to Chiang Mai. The breakfast options are few but everything that was there tasted good (Mostly fruit, toast and eggs). The rooms were clean, tidy and just what we expected. It’s also in walking distance to almost everything in the city center and therefore ideal for tourists. If we ever come back to Chiang Rai we would stay here again.

Featuring views of the lake, all units in the property come with private entrance and a private pool. Some units include a dining area and/or a balcony. At the holiday home, every unit has bed linen and towels. Paa and Michael are determined to build a little paradise in the countryside. Unfortunately, we could only stay two nights as our visa exemption was running out. Otherwise, we would certainly have extended our stay. We had booked the bamboo hut, but they immediately offered us a free upgrade to the bigger bungalow, which is more comfortable and would have been worth the small premium. They prepare simple but tasty meals on demand, still they gave us each a free corn the evening of our arrival, which was another generous gesture. The bed was comfortable, there are several toilet and shower houses, the pool was surprisingly big, there are hammocks under the trees, and they are constantly working to further improve the property. For us breakfast was also included in the price, and they served a full plate. They offer an insane value for the money, and we wish them all the best in the future!

Very good sleep at night. Got 4 bathrooms for the suite which is more than enough to use. Extremely recommend for family and group travellers. Just about 15mins walk from saturday night market. Host is very nice, we were arriving late at 11pm and received warm welcome from her. Breakfast is included.

As we came over the border off the slow boat and watched other people battle for tuk tuks and try to sort transport to chiang rai, we waited just 10 minutes for the owner to arrive and pick us up in his comfortable car. This place was a beautiful, green and peaceful, oasis so close to the border and the owners were so wonderfully welcoming. The cabins are small but have everything you need. The restaurant on site serves delicious Thai food. I can't recommend it enough. Fantastic intro to Thai hospitality.

Located in a peaceful area of Chiang Rai, Gita's House offers a friendly guesthouse, a 15-minute drive away from the Bus Terminal. Free WiFi is accessible throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Everything. The place is clean, quiet, well kept. The bed is super comfortable. The shower has hot water, the decoration makes you feel at home. The staff is very helpful they give you tips on what to see around and you can rent a scooter directly there. The breakfast is very nice and has plenty of different options with delicious homemade marmelade. One regret is not being able to stay more. Thank you for everything 🙏
