The location is also perfect. You can hop on any passing water taxi to go to other islands, Bocas being only two minutes away. Although it’s pretty close, the ambiance in Riva is way different, calm and chilled out, so you basically have the best of both worlds.

Hostal Hansi is very well situated in Bocas' center, 30 m to water taxis, a lot of restaurants and supermarkets around, 100 m to buses to the beaches. Very practical. There's a new owner since 8 months who strives to improve all the equipments. I had a double deluxe room, good size with new ventilator on the ceiling and air condition, a small terrace with table and 2 chairs, some coat hangers, nightstand. The large double bed is comfortable, also the pillows. The bathroom has a good size with hot shower and shelves. The common kitchen has 2 sinks and 2 gas stoves, so we can be cooking all together at the same time. The fridge is very clean. There is inside a place with a number corresponding to your room. There are 2 tables and chairs near the reception and some tables and chairs outside on a large terrace facing the street. Good vibe. All tourists and owner very friendly. My favourite beach on Bocas del Toro: Bluff beach. To go to Boquete I recommend the trip boat and shuttle via Chiriqui grande better than Almirante. Buy the ticket at Pana Bocas officina next to the police station 50 m from Hansi.

The property has sea and mountain views, and is 1.8 km from Carenero Beach. Free private parking is available and the apartment also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. We stayed in an over-the-water bungalow. It was roomy, clean, and had a fabulous view of the bay. It was quiet even though it was on a main road. Property was well maintained.

The house includes 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower and warm water. Rooms on the ground floor share an outdoor warm water shower and bathroom. Facilities include a living room, dining room, kitchen and a terrace. We had an amazing stay; Marco and his team are so kind the whole time, and made us feel at home. The breakfast was incredible, the trust bar worked fantastically... Really nothing bad to mention about Barrbra. There is also a dock there where you can get taxis into town or book tours- so you don't even need to go into town for activities if you don't want to! The place itself is beautifully decorated with a great common area. The wifi was great to work and take calls; sometimes it cut out but that was an island wide thing. AC in the room was incredible and a godsend Would come back here if we return to Bocas del Toro

Some units feature views of the sea or garden. We had a great stay and the food was delicious. The property is a few minutes from the town, in a lovely setting. The hosts worked hard to make a great stay for everyone.

The owners are very welcoming and helpful, it was very much appreciated.

All come with garden views, while some units feature bay views. Right place for spending fantastic holidays away from the crowds of Bocas del Toro. Nice, colorful clean rooms, view over the bay where you can see dolphins jumping. Brian and Amy are just marvelous hosts that offer very interesting tours (snorkeling, dolphin spotting etc.) at fair prices and excellent food (on a long table with the other guests). It is not only called Dolphin Bay, there are really a lot of those noble creatures, apart from sloths, frogs, humming birds etc. Highly recommendable if you look for sustainable tourism (no plastic, renewable energy and careful usage of water).
