Great interior, well put together,the photo doesn’t do it justice. Sheets were pure cotton and so comfortable as was the bed We liked having the toaster , the water bottles in the fridge and chocolates a nice touch. Frendly hosts.

This cabin offers a really unique and cosy stay, and we would definitely recommend. Having spent five weeks travelling around NZ and staying in many different types of accommodation, this was the standout! Outdoor seating is also available at the villa. Amazing property, designed with so much attention to detail. The property is beautifully appointed. I don’t often spend free time (when I’m not working) at rental properties, but truly enjoyed relaxing in the spaces at the Oaktree House. They are stunning, comfortable and well thought out. The large windows and doors opened up to make you feel like you were outside. The hosts provide so much more than other properties. The Nespresso machine with the frother made delicious coffee. There was a lovely basket of fruit and some candies on the counter. The host was prompt and helpful in responding to questions too. I wish I could have stayed longer but will return if it’s available again next time. What a gem!

John and ineke were the perfect hosts very friendly and informative of the area etc. Spacious clean room with outside patio area where you can see views across and the birds drinking the sugar water John puts out everyday. Snow the cat even came to hello and sat quite content on the patio with us.
