You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries. It’s such a great location. You’re literally situated next to the staircase that would take you all the way to the highest point at Ait Ben Haddou for the perfect sunset view. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They told us how to get to the sunset view and sunrise view. There are also shops on the way. It really helps the locals there if you buy something local so we did just that. It was a very memorable stay and the Kasbah was perfect to explore the culture.

All of the rooms are individually and traditionally decorated. All of the rooms are en suite and some have a terrace. Rooms can accommodate up to 3 people. I must say that this was the best hotel of our trip to Morocco. We were treated like kings and queens. There was heating in the room (pretty rare in Morocco), the wifi was working, the food was absolutely delicious and really good value for money. Best meal and breakfast of our stay. They gave us tips about the area (for free which is rare) and they never tried to sell us garbage we don't need. They even gave us some pastries when we left. They made our stay perfect. Amazing staff. The room was also spotless and really comfortable. Thank you for this great experience.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Our host was so kind and friendly, and an amazing chef! He made us a delicious vegetarian tagine, Moroccan salad and fruit for dinner after we arrived from a long drive from Fes. His wife's bread is also wonderful, served fresh and hot! The hotel is in a great location, easy to find, safe, clean and quiet with a rustic charm. Breakfast this morning was generous coffee and hot milk, fresh crepes with an assortment of butter, honey, jams and cheese. We were ready to hit the road to Marrakech and would definitely return to Hotel Azul.
