It's a 10 minute drive to the city, but the hotel can arrange taxi to the main places for pretty small fees (4-6 eur to the city). The riad looks wonderful. We loved the small garden at the entrance, the lobby, the rooms and the rooftop terrace - which offers a great view during the day. Food was delicious and dinner was cheaper - and better! - than in most restaurants we've been to. Staff is super helpful and they speak good english.

You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries. Location was amazing. Arriving at Aït Benhaddou at night, getting brought to the hotel through the paved cobbles of the ksar with our daughter on the back of a donkey (provided by the car park owner) was incredibly special. Aït Benhaddou during the day is full of tourists and tourist shops. At nighttime, when it is empty, it is magic. 360 degree views of the clear night sky and the stars, and being able to climb to the top to meet sunset was magic. A very special and unique hotel, highly recommended.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Excellent family run guesthouse near Todra Gorge. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, good breakfasts with homemade breads, and hot water for showers! Highly recommend exploring the palmeria across the street. A magical oasis of date palms and farmland. We also enjoyed the two hour hike following the river up to the gorge and even walked back. Rachid is a kind host and helped us get a taxi to Merzouga at the end of our stay. Staying here was an unexpected highlight during our two months travels across Morocco. Amazing value!
