Nestled amidst a private garden fitted with a terrace, Uncle Sam Villa offers quiet accommodation in the heart of Siem Reap. It features free WiFi throughout the entire property and an in-house restaurant. Loved our stay at Uncle Sam Villa, felt like we were being welcomed into someones home. Everyone was always very welcoming and nothing was a problem even when we were the only ones there. Breakfast was delicious with a good amount of options and freshly cooked. (Banana Crepes were the go to) and the coffee was great. Location was fantastic! You are tucked away down an allyway, but still felt right in town, not far from pub street and if you need a change in food, there is a delicious and fresh Italian restaurant across the road from the ally. Panha was their tuk tuk driver and he is fantastic, from picking us up from the airport, taking us to the evening circus (and making sure he was at the door waiting for us afterwards), taking us around town for half the day and returning us to the airport, I would highly recommend! He never pushed us to hurry at any of our stops around town, gave us as much time as we needed at the markets etc and was always waiting exactly where he told us.

They have a tuk tuk driver at a reasonable rate, he is also lovely, he gave us cold water and cold cloths to cool off at every stop.

It was more than just a stay—it was an experience woven with heartfelt moments. Meta’s dedication to making everyone feel welcome, introducing me to his family and friends, and sharing the beauty of Cambodia made it even harder to leave. Saying goodbye felt like leaving behind a piece of my heart. I really liked this place because of its authenticity (house instead of hotel, meals at one table with a big family, etc.), that is, I did not feel like a simple tourist because I was always next to a local resident, ready to help me with the choice of special activities. After I finished the standard set of activities for tourists, I discovered many places that tourists do not even suspect, unless of course they thoroughly explore the topic. As a result, in a few days we drove more than a thousand kilometers and got into an unimaginable wilderness, which I was completely delighted with. I recommend this place to anyone looking for non-standard adventures.

The staff were incredible (cannot stress this enough), the food was very tasty, and the pool idyllic.
