Amazing view from the hotel and staff we very nice and helpful. Masks at the hotel were delicious and everything was clean and organized. The hotel also provided transportation to and from the train station. Location was convenient and right at a bus stop.

I visited Japan in May to enjoy the wisteria in full bloom thinking it will be the highlight of my trip, my stay in this charming onsenji ended up climbing the charts instead. The staff were very attentive to details even before my arrival, checking on meal preferences and customizing a vegetarian alternative for me and my mom. There were countless things to appreciate and admire, the garden, the koi pond, the exquisite food, the yukata and pijamas to chose from, the heated bathroom tiles and your own private onsen. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay despite the room being slightly different to what I have booked due to recent remodeling. We were welcomed by super friendly Demant who walked us through the facilities and kept checking on us to make sure we have everything we needed. Thank you for a truly unforgettable experience.

The place is spacious and it’s very suitable for a family with younger kids. They have toys, complete tableware for kids. We spent five nights there.

House was very clean and well maintained.

A recently renovated property, 富士吉田たまきや is set in Fujiyoshida near Fuji-Q Highland, Oshijuutaku Togawa and Osano’s House. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the apartment free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is situated 6.6 km from Lake Kawaguchi. We just loved it! Huge space in traditional setting! Although it was off the main grid we had no problem with that as we walk a lot. Beautiful main room, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine.
