They also provided a free ticket to the public onsens in town, which was a nice touch, and a light breakfast for free as well (tea/coffee/juices with small croissants and cake, which were suprisingly tasty).

Amazing ryokan experience in a winter wonderland! Ranko-san was an amazing host who cared for our every needs. She even lent as snow boots for our winter hikes when she saw that our shoes was unsuitable for the snow. She was friendly and spoke English well. The rooms was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The onsen was big and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner was better than any restaurant we could find in hirosaki! Will definitely be back again :)
